On April 16, 2026, at approximately 1:49 am, Officer Olson with the Buffalo Police Department located two vehicles parked and several parties gathered around playing music at [ADDRESS REDACTED] in Buffalo, Wright County, Minnesota well after park hours. Officer Olson observed a male identified as Drake Alexander Najera [DOB REDACTED] hereinafter defendant, standing at the driver’s side door of a black ford focus vehicle. Officer Olson observed the vehicle to park outside of the lines with what appeared to be vomit coating on the passenger side.
Officer Olson observed a large clear jug with yellowish liquid on top of the Black Ford Focus’ hood. Officer Olson informed the individuals the park is closed at 10 pm and requested identification. Officer Olson observed several opened bottle of various alcoholic beverages in plain view in the Ford Focus to include Tito’s Vodka. Officer Olson observed an individual passed out in the passenger seat. Defendant is under 21 and Officer Olson also observed a grinder and smoking pipe in plain view of the vehicle.
A search of defendant’s vehicle located several opened and improperly packaged cannabis flower in the center console. A black zippered handbag in the backseat that had a grinder and loose cannabis flower inside along with lighters and various smoking pipes. While searching the trunk, Officer Olson located a black backpack that contained more bottles of alcohol, cannabis flower, and a large quantity of psilocybin mushrooms. Pursuant to Miranda, defendant agreed to speak with Officer Olson. Defendant claimed the back pack was his cousins and that he left it in the trunk a month ago.
Defendant admitted to drinking. The psilocybin mushrooms weighed approximately 30 grams.
