Defendant was holding a black folding knife in her hand when officers arrived on scene. Officers were able to remove the knife from her hand, and they attempted to take Defendant into custody. After clearing the scene at Kowalski’s, officers went to the Sencha Tea Bar. Officers spoke with R. S. (“Victim 2” herein). Victim 2 told officers he was sitting on a couch in the store when a female, later identified as Defendant, approached him. Victim 2 and Defendant engaged in conversation for some time until Defendant became agitated. Defendant took a pocketknife out of her pocket and opened and closed it while rambling. Victim 2 stood up from the couch and began to walk away from Defendant, but Defendant walked towards Victim 2 with the pocketknife open.
