On or about November 16, 2025, Minneapolis Police were working off duty at a grocery store located in Minneapolis in Hennepin County, Minnesota. Officers learned that an employee of the store, AMINA YUSUF MOHAMED (DOB: 6/226/1994), Defendant herein, had been suspended for harassing another employee, a known adult male, Victim herein. Officers observed Defendant standing outside the store on the sidewalk looking at the store through the glass window. Defendant spoke with officers and stated she had been working with the grocery store for about a year and never had any issues.
Defendant stated that she has been engaged and had a romantic relationship with Victim. Officers located Victim hiding in the management office of the store. Victim [NAME REDACTED] has never had any relationship with Defendant. They both worked at the grocery store. Defendant told Victim she had feelings for him, and Victim [NAME REDACTED] was not interested and he had a girlfriend who also works at the grocery store. Victim noticed that Defendant started acting strange after that. Victim noticed that his surveillance camera at his home, located in Minneapolis in Hennepin County, Minnesota, showed that on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at approximately 10:00 PM, Defendant showed up to his home with a child.
Victim [NAME REDACTED] at the time. On Friday, November 14, 2025, at approximately 10:45 AM, Defendant and a known adult female, Witness 1 herein, saw Defendant outside the yard of Victim’s home trying to come in. Victim and Witness 1 called police. Defendant was gone before officer arrived. Defendant returned to Victim’s home at approximately 2:30 PM. Defendant left a note on his door with comments that she is his crazy wife. Officers took pictures of that note. Victim also explained that Defendant poured what appeared to be water onto his doorsteps and was saying some form of prayer.
Officer spoke again with Defendant outside the grocery store, and Defendant appeared to have been there for hours. Defendant later decided to leave. On Saturday November 15, 2025, Defendant came into the grocery store and attempted to speak with Victim. Victim [NAME REDACTED], as he did not know how Defendant got his address. Victim [NAME REDACTED] went to a different address to sleep. Victim was advised by his neighbors that during the morning of November 16, 2025, Defendant had come back to his home looking for him and told neighbors that the victim [NAME REDACTED]. That same day, on November 16, 2025, Defendant returned to the grocery store and was told to leave.
Defendant refused to leave and was arrested. Victim has been scared to stay at his home and has been using rental vehicles, as he is afraid Defendant knows what car he drives. Victim provided officers with the surveillance videos from his residence. Victim [NAME REDACTED] on November 19, 2025, Defendant sent text messages to Victim’s coworker, Witness 2 ••-CR-••-•••• Filed in District Court State of Minnesota 4/27/2026 2. One of those messages stated: “And when you see “[Victim]" if that's even his real name, let him know that I vandalized his house and sent him threats in his mailbox and will send another one tomorrow!
