On December 26, 2025, at approximately 10:33 A.M., Paynesville Officer Haakonson was dispatched to Tractor Supply Co. In the City of Paynesville, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota, for a theft complaint. Officer Haakonson met with store manager, J. M. K., and learned that a male pushed a cart full of merchandise out of the store through an overhead door in the back of the store. She said he loaded some of the items into his vehicle and left the cart behind. Officer Haakonson reviewed surveillance video with J. M. K. Showing the male arriving in the parking lot in a gray Ford F150 and selecting items inside the store.
While zooming in on the male, Officer Haakonson recognized the male from a recent theft investigation he assisted with and confirmed the male in the video was Lukas Alexander Kamrowski, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein. The surveillance video showed the defendant enter the back room with the cart of merchandise, open the overhead door, push the cart out and attempt to shut the overhead door. The defendant pushed the cart to his vehicle and left the parking lot a short time later. J. M. K. Said an employee found the cart of merchandise outside and brought it back inside.
J. M. K. Later provided a receipt totaling the merchandise that the defendant removed from the store, which was $1,037.83. Some of this merchandise was recovered. Officer Haakonson spoke with the defendant over the phone on December 31, 2025. The defendant admitted pushing the cart full of merchandise out the back door of Tractor Supply Co. But that he did not take everything that was in the cart. He said he got nervous and nearly threw up so he left some items in the cart. Complainant has reason to believe and does believe that the above information is true and correct.
The above facts constitute your complainant's basis for believing that the above named defendant, on or about the 26th day of December, 2025, in the City of Paynesville, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota, committed the offense described herein.
