On November 20, 2025, law enforcement executed a narcotics and firearms search warrant at [ADDRESS REDACTED] North, [APT REDACTED], Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The target of the investigation was TORRENCE LOMANTHRO GRAY, DEFENDANT T. GRAY herein. DEFENDANT T. GRAY was present inside the apartment along with his brother, DOMINICK LAMONT GRAY, DEFENDANT D. GRAY herein. Two adult females were also present, along with animals who appeared severely neglected. DEFENDANT T. GRAY came to the door for the entry team, and DEFENDANT D. GRAY was located inside the northeast bedroom.
During a search of the residence, officers recovered the following items. Northeast Bedroom: - 9 mm Handgun with loaded magazine under the bed; - Box of loose.38 special ammunition under the bed; - Box of 9mm ammunition under the bed; - Bag of 62.61 grams of psylocibin mushrooms on the shelf. Southwest Bedroom: - Mail in the name of DEFENDANT T. GRAY next to three cell phones; -.62 grams field tested positive cocaine and.74 grams field tested positive methamphetamine in a container on a table in the corner; - Blue Aldi bag in close that held two firearms; - Gray backpack containing field tested positive methamphetamine (ecstasy) pills which weighed approximately 4,560 grams (approximately 10 lbs or 18,000 pills); - Green bag on table holding magazines and springs that would appear to belong to extended pistol magazines; - Three loaded firearms under the nightstand; - Approximately 36.38 grams suspected methamphetamine (ecstasy) pills and packaging on top of dresser; - Magazine and holster found in top drawer of cabinet; -.7 gram field tested positive cocaine in a clear plastic bag on the vanity; - 5.5 grams methamphetamine powder in the nightstand.
Kitchen: - Plastic bag with miscellaneous ammunition on island. The quantity of drugs is significantly larger than a personal use amount and indicates intent to sell. Given the small size of the apartment and the fact that none of the firearms were secured, your affiant believes DEFENDANT T. GRAY could have accessed the firearm within a matter of a few seconds. DEFENDANT T. GRAY was advised of his Miranda rights and agreed to speak with investigators. Prior to the systematic search, he showed investigators where multiple firearms were, along with the grey backpack holding the thousands of pills.
He admitted the southwest bedroom was his. He admitted to possessing the firearms and buying them off the street. He said he knew the pills were in his bedroom, but claimed he was holding them for a friend. He admitted to using cocaine and ecstasy. He admitted to using and selling drugs. He knew he was prohibited from possessing firearms. DEFENDANT D. GRAY was advised of his Miranda rights and agreed to speak with investigators. He admitted to knowing the pistol was under his bed.
