On December 12, 2025, Minneapolis Police officers were dispatched to an assault call at an apartment located on the 2700 block of Blaisdell Avenue in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a fully identified female, Victim here, who told officers that she came home from visiting her mother and found three women waiting for her. Victim [NAME REDACTED] was with her young daughter. The three women threw her on the ground in front of the listed address, repeatedly hit her with their fists and feet, and stole her iPhone 15 Max.
She told officers that she told the women that she was pregnant and they told her they did not care and kicked her in her stomach. Victim [NAME REDACTED] attacked her until her brother came out of the apartment building. Victim was 17 weeks pregnant. She stated that she had stomach pain from being kicked in the stomach. Victim [NAME REDACTED] one or two of the women had knives in their hands. She was also punched with a brass knuckle. Officers reviewed Milestone video at the address and noted the red SUV the Victim [NAME REDACTED] in as a small Chevy SUV with front license plate appeared to be a dealer plate with no letters or numbers.
The front passenger appeared to have on a white T-shirt, consistent with the white t-shirt the suspects had on. Officers learned that NIMA ALI ABDI [DOB REDACTED], Defendant Nima herein, NASTEHO ALI ABDI [DOB REDACTED], Defendant Nasteho herein, matching the description of the suspects listed to the address. Nasteho was the same name Victim [NAME REDACTED] one of the females that assaulted her. Victim stated the names of the other two females were Sumiya and her sister Layla (unknown spelling). Victim stated that Layla and Victim used to be friends when they lived in Wilmar, Minnesota, but had not been friends since 2022. Victim moved out of Minnesota and returned in 2024. Victim stated that Layla wanted to restart their relationship, but Victim declined.
Layla then started posting explicit photo of Victim [NAME REDACTED]. The two sisters had come to her apartment in the past and Victim had called 911. Victim viewed Defendant Nasteho’s photo and confirmed it as one of her attackers. Victim also viewed Defendant Nima’s photo and confirmed that it was the female she knew as “Sumiya” who also attacked and took her phone. Defendants are sisters. Officers were unable to identify the third female known as Layla. Victim also identified the red Chevy SUV as the one driven by the three females.
Victim sent officers two videos of a female Victim identified as Layla breaking Victim’s window from the social media account “Bororada Queen” and a video that appears to show Layla taunting Victim [NAME REDACTED] from social media account “zuzusimaan”. The taunting video further showed that there was an ongoing “beef” between Victim [NAME REDACTED]. Defendant Nasteho is in custody on PC-pick up on this report. The State respectfully requests a warrant to issue due to public safety.
