On September 19, 2025, at approximately 1:34 P.M., police on patrol working in the University Corridor were traveling westbound in the alley north of Lafond Avenue and east of Ashbury Street in St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota. Police observed several males in the alley that appeared to be engaged in narcotics dealing. One of the males, KEANON PATRICK BUSKE HAHN – [DOB REDACTED], was identified by witnesses the previous day as dealing narcotics in the area. As police approached, the males scattered.
BUSKE HAHN climbed onto an E-bike and drove down the alley in an attempt to evade police. Police activated the squad’s emergency lights and sirens to initiate a stop, at which point BUSKE HAHN stopped. Police explained that they were stopping him in relation to suspected participation in narcotic activity. BUSKE HAHN denied being involved in such activity. In BUSKE HAHN’s bag, police located a blue “days of the week” plastic medicine container that had multiple small plastic baggies inside containing a white powdery substance.
BUSKE HAHN told police that it was a supplement and not narcotics. While performing a data check, BUSKE HAHN told police that he ingested narcotics and needed medical attention. While en route to the hospital, BUSKE HAHN told medics that he swallowed a baggie of methamphetamine, a baggie of fentanyl that he believed had a hole in it, and Xanax. BUSKE HAHN was released from custody to the hospital for treatment. Presumptive testing on the substance in one of the baggies from the medicine container yielded a positive result for fentanyl with a net weight of.9 grams.
