Your Complainant is an Officer with the Owatonna Police Department. Investigation has revealed that on January 16th, 2026, at 7:55AM, Officer Selvik was dispatched to Spherion Staffing and Recruiting at [ADDRESS REDACTED], Owatonna, MN, County of Steele regarding a threat's complaint. Dispatch stated an employee candidate was making threats. Dispatch then transferred the reporting party/victim, [NAME REDACTED], to Officer Selvik's work cellphone. Officer Selvik then responded to Spherion Staffing and Recruiting, where he was able to speak to M. M. M. M. Stated, "hello there.
I am M. M. I am the Operation manager at Spherion. This morning Spherion received this threatening text message. The text message came into our general phone number. Applicants know that they can call the number, text the number and we respond. One of my employees noticed this morning that we had received a text message. The text message came from the number: [PHONE REDACTED]. The text message stated, 'better watch your back when y'all are at work at that Owatonna location. I'm going to f*** you all up for reporting my online account.
Better have guns because I do.' This was quite alarming. And nerve-racking. We are not sure what to do. My employees are freaked out. I mean, we are sitting here in the dark, with the doors closed. This is not something that has happened before. We have a possible suspect, Alexander Thomas Willcox [DOB REDACTED]. In January, Willcox applied for a job thru Indeed. We (Spherion) post jobs on Indeed for employers and assist them in hiring employees. Willcox applied for one of those jobs on Indeed. On January 5th, 2026, we sent Willcox a response stating he will not be considered for the job.
On January 6th, 2026, Willcox then sent a message to us (Spherion) thru his Indeed account. The message stated, "well f*** you then you fags," "seriously go f*** yourselves," "f*** you" (a total of twenty f*** you). We know it was Willcox that sent us those messages. Right on the message it has his name listed, "Alexander Willcox" and the job that he applied for. Based on his responses, we (Spherion) reported Willcox's Indeed profile to Indeed. Willcox's Indeed profile is the first one we have had to report to Indeed in two years." Officer Selvik then spoke with Detective Tomsche and Detective Berg at the Police Department regarding an active terroristic threats complaint he received.
Officer Selvik informed Detective Berg that Spherion received a threatening text message from the phone number [PHONE REDACTED]. Officer Selvik requested that Detective Tomsche and Detective Berg attempt to identify the suspect/sender who had sent the threatening messages. This phone number resolves back to TextNow Inc. According to TextNow Inc., the following IP addresses are associated: - Account creation December 21st, 2025 4:46AM UTC - 45.52.37.238 (Frontier Communications) - Recent IP address used on January 16th, 2026 at 12:50PM UTC - 45.52.41.3 (Frontier Communications) According to Frontier Communications, both of these IP addresses are associated to T. K. At a residence on the 5400 block of 98th Street Southeast, Blooming Prairie, MN, County of Steele.
