On January 17, 2026, at approximately 7:06 pm, Saint Cloud Police were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 900 block for 7th Avenue South in the City of Saint Cloud, County of Stearns, on a report of an assault. A female, hereinafter Adult A, reported to dispatch she had just been assaulted by Tre Nicolai Terry-Olsen [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, and had just left the apartment on foot after pushing her down on top of her child. Adult A and Defendant are family/household members. Upon arrival at the apartment, officers made contact with Adult A who told officers she and Defendant had been arguing and fighting all day, and it had gotten to the point where Defendant was pushing her around the apartment and not allowing her to leave.
Adult A reported at one point she was in the kitchen and Defendant pushed her into the wall and she fell on top of her 4 year old child. Adult A also reported she had hit the back of her head on the wall when Defendant pushed her and was experiencing pain. At that time, officers were not able to get a formal statement from Adult A due to her three minor [NAME REDACTED]. One of the children came up to officers multiple times and was saying Defendant hurt Adult A and pushed her on top of him. Adult A advised officers multiple times that Defendant was going to hurt her and believed he was going to try and come back and kill her.
Officers were able to follow up with Adult A later the same evening to take a formal statement over the phone, and Adult A provided an account similar to what she had stated to officers on scene. Officers were able to contact and meet up with Defendant, who denied pushing Adult A against the wall. Defendant has two prior qualified domestic violence related convictions for Threats of Violence on April 4, 2022, in Cass County District Court File No. ••-CR-••-••••, and 3rd Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct on December 20, 2022, in Crow Wing County District Court File No. ••-CR-••-••••. Complainant has reason to believe and does believe that all of the above information is true and correct.
The above facts constitute your complainant's basis for believing that the above-named Defendant, on or about the 17th day of January, 2026, in the City of Saint Cloud, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota, committed the offenses described herein.
