Deajanea Janice Diane Perkins

On 11/23/25 at approximately 3:42 P.M., Officer Orris was dispatched to report of theft at TJ Maxx, 1300 Shingle Creek Crossing, Brooklyn Center, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Loss prevention provided a description of the suspect and indicated she was walking past the Five Below store. Upon arrival, officers saw a female at a nearby bus stop matching the description provided. The female suspect was transported back to TJ Maxx and confirmed to be the person who took items from the store without paying for them.

The items were recovered and totaled $131.05. The female identified herself as Da’Vonna Marie Perkins, [DOB redacted], a real person with outstanding warrants. Officers noted that there was also an outstanding felony warrant for Deajanea Janice Diane Perkins, [DOB redacted], the defendant herein. Officer confirmed through DVS records that the suspect was actually the defendant and that she had initially identified herself to officers using her sister’s name and date of birth.
