On November 17, 2025, NATHANIEL KIMBLE HUDSON [DOB REDACTED] was trespassed for a year from Walgreens at [ADDRESS REDACTED] North, Roseville, Ramsey County for shoplifting. On March 11, 2026, Officer Porras saw Hudson sprinting south on Rice Street carrying a large reusable bag in his hand. The bag appeared to be empty. Officer Porras thought Hudson’s behavior was unusual, and he saw Hudson entered the Walgreens at [ADDRESS REDACTED] North, Roseville, Ramsey County. Officer Porras followed Hudson into the store.
An employee told Officer Porras that Hudson had placed store merchandise inside his reusable bag. Hudson left the store, and Officer Porras stopped him. Hudson had concealed 43 items valued at $135.17 inside the reusable bag. Hudson claimed he had swallowed fentanyl when he learned he was going to jail. Officer Porras had not observed Hudson put anything in his mouth. Hudson declined Narcan when offered it. Hudson cried and behaved erratically when he discovered he was going to jail after he was medically cleared from the hospital.
When placed in an ambulance Hudson asked, “How did I swallow drugs when I was right there in your face the whole time?” Hudson spat inside the ambulance, and a spit hood was placed over his head. When taken to the jail Hudson claimed he had ingested fentanyl concealed in his anus. Hudson declined a custodial statement. Hudson is charged with a gross misdemeanor burglary in the fourth degree in Ramsey County District Court file 62SU-CR-26-9. On January 5, 2022, Hudson received a felony sentence on a simple robbery in Ramsey County District Court file 62-CR-20-4741. Hudson is currently in custody in Ramsey County on another burglary in the third degree where he failed to appear in court in file 62-CR-25-5439. Hudson stole from a Cub Foods where he had been trespassed.
