At approximately 9:10 P.M. On April 09, 2026, Wright County Sheriff’s Deputy Zachman stopped a vehicle near Labeaux Avenue and 73rd Street in Otsego, Wright County, Minnesota for dark window tint. The driver was identified as Kristen Anne Henrickson [DOB REDACTED] (hereinafter “the defendant”). She admitted she did not have a valid license. Deputy Zachman saw multiple torch lighters in the vehicle, and he noticed an odor of marijuana. A records search showed that the defendant’s driver’s license was canceled.
When asked if there was any methamphetamine in the vehicle, the defendant looked away in the direction of the vehicle and eventually said “no.” She said there was nothing in the car “that she knew of,” and she looked away again. She admitted there was weed in the vehicle. She showed Deputy Blackford a jar of marijuana in non-compliant packaging from under her seat, and she produced a burnt blunt from her driver’s side door. While Deputy Zachman was getting gloves from his squad car prior to searching the suspect vehicle, the defendant admitted there is methamphetamine in her bag on the passenger floor.
She claimed her passenger put it there. During the search of the vehicle, law enforcement found a rubber hose and glass bubble pipes in the center console, an open bottle of Crown Royal under the driver’s seat, and a fine white crystal substance in a black case in a bag on the passenger floor. Makeup products and the defendant’s credit cards were also inside the bag. The white crystal substance later field tested positive for methamphetamine and weighed approximately 1.66 grams. In a Mirandized statement, the defendant admitted the black bag on the floor was hers.
She admitted the substance was meth, and that it was “ours.” She said she and the passenger both use. She said she got the substance from the defendant stuffing it in her bag. Methamphetamine is a Schedule II controlled substance.
