That on November 2, 2025, at approximately 1:12 A.M., Bloomington Police Officer Schletty was dispatched on a reported driving complaint. The reporting party stated that a black Ford F-150 bearing Minnesota License Plate [PLATE REDACTED] was failing to maintain its lane and almost struck another vehicle. Officer Schletty ran the license plate and discovered that it was registered to a individual who lived at [ADDRESS REDACTED], Bloomington, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Officer Schletty went to that address and observed the vehicle parked in front of the house.
The vehicle was running with its exterior lights on. Officer Schletty approached the vehicle and spoke with the driver, who was eventually identified as Gustavo Angel Aguilar Guzman [DOB REDACTED] ("Defendant"). In speaking with Defendant, Officer Schletty observed the odor of alcohol and that Defendant's eyes were bloodshot and watery. Officer Schletty further observed an open can of Modelo Beer sitting the front, center cup holder and a three year old child in the back passenger seat of Defendant's vehicle.
Defendant admitted to drinking prior to driving. Defendant attempted field sobriety testing, including a preliminary breath test, which returned a result of 0.225. Defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Bloomington Police Department where he was read the Breath Test Advisory. Defendant agreed to take a breath test, which returned a result of 0.19 at 3:18 A.M. Defendant is currently on administrative probation for a prior DWI conviction from April 11, 2024 in court file 27-CR-23- 25013. Based on the above, your complainant states that on November 2, 2025, within the corporate limits of the City of Bloomington, Hennepin County, State of Minnesota, Gustavo Angel Aguilar Guzman, then and there being, did violate the above-listed provisions.
