On October 1, 2024, officers executed a search warrant in connection with a narcotics investigation at a residential address [ADDRESS REDACTED], Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The subject of the investigation was Glenford Dalbert Lamb, [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein. The Defendant and two other individuals were present in the residence at the time of the warrant. During a search of the residence officers located the following: • Two plastic sandwich bags containing a blue/green ball-shaped substance located in a Nike bag on the stairs by the front door.
The substance later field tested positive for 197.64g of fentanyl. The bag also contained a title to the Defendant’s vehicle. The narcotics were later sent to the BCA for confirmatory testing. One of the two bags was tested and confirmed 102.446g of fentanyl. • A blue framed and black slide pistol (P80) with a tan magazine and no serial number in box by the front door. • Multiple unused baggies, a wire strainer with residue, and a blending container with a blue/green substance in a bag by the front door.
The strainer, blender, and baggies are items consistent with breaking down and packaging narcotics for sale. • Glock G489mm pistol on top closet shelf of master bedroom. • Quentin Defense QD-15 (AR-15 style).233/5.56mm firearm located on shelf of master bedroom closet. Modifications to the firearm made it a short-barreled rifle. • Numerous other magazines and ammunition located throughout the residence. During a search of one of the Defendant’s vehicles, the center console was loose in the vehicle, indicative of possible use for concealment in the sale and distribution of narcotics.
Multiple cell phones were also seized from the residence. Search warrants were obtained and the phones were analyzed and revealed evidence of drug sales. On one of the phones the Defendant communicated with an individual where he advised him to sell drugs and return any unsold drugs to the Defendant. Another text conversation showed a text exchange between the Defendant and an individual about how much money was owed. The Defendant responded with a video of many bags of suspected fentanyl on a carpet- covered stair.
The stairs appear to be the same as the stairs inside the entryway of the Defendant’s residence. The phone also contained a photo appearing to be a vacuum-packed kilogram of suspected fentanyl. Officers obtained a search warrant for the Defendant’s DNA. The firearms were also swabbed and sent to the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension for comparison. Additional testing revealed that the Defendant is a possible contributor to the DNA profile developed from the AR-15 rifle and P80 firearm without a serial number.
A review of the Defendant’s criminal history reveals that the Defendant is prohibited from possessing firearms due to being convicted of a crime of violence: Felony Dangerous Drugs, in violation of Illinois Statute 570.0/401-C-2 (Illinois Court File No. 19CF00000735, convicted 6/5/2020). The Defendant is not currently in custody. Due to the large quantity of fentanyl possessed, evidence of narcotics sale, and numerous firearms present, the State requests the complaint be issued by warrant for public safety.
