On May 28, 2025 at approximately 3:46 P.M., law enforcement was dispatched to a domestic incident at a residence located in the City of Waite Park, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota. Officer Jesse Abel spoke with S. F. P., an adult fully identified in the police reports. S. F. P. Reported that he was in an argument with Julia Dream Edwards, [DOB REDACTED]. S. F. P. Reported that, at one point, Edwards grabbed his pocket knife and ran to the bathroom. S. F. P. Stated that he opened the bathroom door and observed Edwards with the knife to her wrist.
S. F. P. Stated that he left the bathroom to get his cell phone. S. F. P. Further reported that Edwards left the bathroom with the knife open and pointed at him and came to about an arm's length. S. F. P. Stated that he picked up a laundry basket and Edwards closed the knife and returned to the bathroom. S. F. P. Stated that he opened the bathroom door a second time and Edwards again had the knife to her wrist. S. F. P. Stated that Edwards again approached him with the knife. S. F. P. Stated he then left the apartment.
Edwards reported that she took S. F. P.'s knife into the bathroom and S. F. P. Tried to stop her. Edwards stated that S. F. P. Was going to call 911 and she left the bathroom because she did not want him to call. Edwards denied intending to harm S. F. P. And stated that she only wanted to harm herself. Edwards and S. F. P. Are family or household members. Complainant has reason to believe and does believe that all of the above information is true and correct. The above facts constitute your complainant's basis for believing that the above-named defendant, on or about the 28th day of May, 2025 in the City of Waite Park, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota, committed the offenses described herein.
