On December 14, 2025, police took a report about a criminal sexual conduct that occurred at an apartment at [ADDRESS REDACTED], Little Canada, Ramsey County, Minnesota. JDKT – YOB: 2017 reported that she was showing her grandpa, later identified as RONALD RANSOM – [DOB REDACTED], funny cat videos in his bedroom. JDKT said RANSOM told her to come over to him then placed his hands under her shirt on her left breast. JDKT thought he was going to try and tickle her, but she described his hand rubbing on her chest.
JDKT reported that it happened again in the living room, but she told him to stop, and he did. JDKT said he did it one time in the past as well. DKG, JDKT’s mother, said she got a voice text from JDKT, “Mom, can you call grandma? Grandpa keeps touching me in the weirdest ways and I went to his room and he started touching me on my chest and also he came next to me on the couch and still touching me now and move away he touched her private area and she said she didn’t like it and can you call my grandma”. In a follow-up statement, JDKT said she was in the living room when RANSOM, who was on the bed in his bedroom, called for her and asked what she was watching.
JDKT stated that she stood next to him and took the TV remote to switch the channel to what she was watching. JDKT reported that RANSOM took his hand, put it under her shirt, touched her bare chest with his hand, and began rubbing her breast. He told her to turn the channel back to what he was watching, and then she went back into the living room. JDKT said RANSOM followed her and put his hand under her shirt again. JDKT told him to stop, and RANSOM went away like nothing happened. JDKT was lying on the couch with a blanket over her when RANSOM came and stood next to her.
JDKT said RANSOM’s hand moved down to her vaginal area, stayed on the outside of the blanket, and hovered there when he asked her if she wanted him to touch her there. JDKT denied that RANSOM went under the blanket or touched her directly on the vaginal area. JDKT texted her mom right away then her mom called and she told her what happened. When asked if RANSOM ever did anything like that before, JDKT said he did. JDKT reported that when she was six, she was in bed with her grandpa and brother. JDKT said RANSOM lifted her shirt to go down near her genital area, went underneath the blanket and her clothing, and rubbed the top on the outside of her vagina.
JDKT denied any penetration of her vagina. When JDKT told him to stop, RANSOM replied that he was just trying for the belly, but JDKT said she knew that was not true. JDKT said she got out of bed and told her grandma. RANSOM told her grandma that he was just trying to tickle her, but JDKT said she knew it was his excuse so he could get out of it. JDKT’s brother, CSM, was present in the apartment at the time of the incident. He told police that he did not see anything, but JDKT told him what happened.
