Your Complainant is an Officer with the Owatonna Police Department. On March 6th, 2026, Anthony Wade [DOB REDACTED] was taken into custody for an active warrant from the State of Illinois. On March 3rd, 2026, a Felony Warrant was issued for Anthony Wade from Lasalle County, Illinois, for failure to appear on a charge of Driving RVK/SUSP DUI/SSS 4-9. Lasalle County indicated to law enforcement that no bond was listed on their warrant pursuant to the Illinois Safe-T act. The State of Illinois indicated that they would pursue extradition of Anthony Wade if not waived.
Complainant has reasonable ground to believe that Anthony Wade is the person described in the documents received from the State of Illinois and is a fugitive from justice. Anthony Wade should be brought before the Steele County District Court so he may be advised of his rights and a determination be made whether or not he waives extradition to the State of Illinois or whether he contests and demands a hearing relative to the right of the State of Minnesota to return him to the State of Illinois.
