On March 2, 2026, law enforcement was dispatched to Chicago and 56th Street East in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota for a report of a TRIP agent being assaulted on a bus. Law enforcement located the suspect who was later identified as Kevin Dalvour Holt, [DOB REDACTED] (Defendant herein) near Chicago and 51st street. D. D. Told law enforcement he was checking fares on the bus when he approached the Defendant and asked to see his proof of fare. The Defendant responded, “I’m just getting something to eat.” D. D. Again asked for the Defendant’s fare and the Defendant responded, “F*** you, get the f*** out of my face.” D. D. Told the Defendant that he needed to have fare and walked away towards the front of the bus.
As D. D. Was walking away, the Defendant got behind D. D. And struck D. D. In the middle of the back with a fist. D. D. Told law enforcement that his back was somewhat painful and that at the time of the incident he was afraid of what the Defendant may do to him. A show up was done with the Defendant and D. D. Was 100% positive, the Defendant was the person who struck him. The Defendant has the following previous qualified domestic violence-related offense convictions within three years, thus making this offense a felony: Assault in 5th Degree- ••-CR-••-•••• Convicted on 7/21/2025 Threats of Violence- ••-CR-••-•••• Convicted on 9/18/2024 The Defendant is in custody.
