She said that Joseph then "jerked the wheel" to the right “very hard.” She said she believed his actions were intentional, that she was travelling about 50 mph. She added that she was "f****** terrified" and that she had "never been so scared in my life I think." 3 10-CR-26-13 Filed in District Court State of Minnesota 1/7/2026 Deputies observed tire tracks on the east shoulder of northbound Powers Blvd that lead up a roughly 3-foot-tall snowbank that was adjacent to the roadway. The tire tracks then went across a sidewalk that was roughly 7 feet from the roadway.
The tire tracks then continued east roughly 30 yards into a tree lined area adjacent to the sidewalk. A tree had been knocked over at its base with the vehicle tracks leading up to the broken tree, narrowly missing and going between two much larger trees. The vehicle tracks continued past the fallen tree for roughly 20 yards, where it came to rest facing northbound, roughly 30 yards from adjacent houses. There were substantial branches on the ground leading up to the SUV, which appeared to be the entire top half of the tree.
SUV parts were on the ground under and next to the SUV. Both front airbags had deployed in the SUV. The front of the SUV had significant damage, with the engine compartment having collapsed in creating a "V" shape in the middle of the SUV's front end. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn. Stat. 609.49., intentional failure to appear for duly scheduled court appearances may result in additional criminal charges, and in addition to any arrest warrant that may otherwise be issued by the Court.
