On June 25, 2024 S. J. With Kohl's loss prevention reported a theft that occurred at Chaska Kohl's in Chaska, Carver County, on June 24, 2024. The theft involved $1,704 in Sephora beauty products. S. J. Reported he received information from Chaska Kohl's that a male had stolen a large amount of beauty products the day before. S. J. Reviewed surveillance and observed a black male approximately 6 feet tall with a heavy build enter the store and select multiple items from the Sephora products area and place them in a black tote.
The male was seen on camera walking away from the Sephora department and then walked past the registers and exited the store. The male drove away in a Grey Dodge Charger. Investigation did not provide a license plate number. The male had hair in braids with a short ponytail and a tattoo on his left forearm. Chaska law enforcement followed up and sent out a crime alert with no positive hits. On July 20, 2025 Chaska Officers were dispatched to Chaska Kohl's on a report by S. J. That a suspect had entered the store on July 13, 2025 wearing a gray t-shirt, gray shorts, a camo baseball hat and flip flops.
While inside the male stole large amounts of cosmetic items and hid them in a black duffle bag. He passed all points of sale without paying and drove away in a dark blue SUV. The merchandise totaled $2,016. S. J. Believed the suspect to be the same person related to the theft from Kohl's that occurred on June 24, 2024. S. J. Sent out a new crime alert and received a response from a Richfield detective who identified the suspect as Keenan Davante Harris (3-19-1992), hereinafter Defendant. Defendant has been involved in numerous thefts from Kohl's. The Officers obtained surveillance footage from Kohl's. They compared it with the driver's license photo of Defendant and were able to positively identify it as a match in both theft matters.
In addition a Chaska Crime Analyst was able to locate social media accounts for Defendant on both Facebook and Instagram. The photos matched Defendant. Officers spoke with an Ulta Beauty Loss prevention worker who identified that Defendant is associated with 18 thefts from Ulta totaling over $18,000. Defendant was unable to be located for a statement. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn.
