On January 13, 2026, officers executed a search warrant at Baymon’s residence at [ADDRESS REDACTED]. Albans Street, St. Paul, Ramsey County. Officers recovered a cell phone when Baymon was arrested. Officers searched Baymon’s bedroom and found a camouflage bag that contained a 9mm Ghost gun with a laser attached to it and a high-capacity magazine. The firearm’s chamber and magazine both contained ammunition. A gun box beneath a futon in the bedroom contained a loaded.45 caliber magazine and loose.45 caliber ammunition.
Officers later found a Springfield.45 caliber handgun in the bedroom. 3 62-CR-26-313 Filed in District Court State of Minnesota 1/14/2026 Officers obtained and executed a search warrant for Baymon’s phone. At 11:42 PM on November 25, 2025, Baymon sent at text message that read: “I jus came back ina house I blew at some white people he hollered ahhh.” Baymon’s text included 4 crying emojis and a laughing while crying emoji. “Blew” is a slang term referencing shooting a firearm. AB and IF are both white.
Baymon was advised of his constitutional rights and agreed to speak to investigators. Baymon was shown photos of the shooter from surveillance video in the area taken on November 25, 2025. Baymon denied knowing who the person in the photo was. Investigators told Baymon they had recovered the jacket and pants the person in the photos wore at his home during the search warrant. Baymon denied officers would find any firearms in his house. When told officers had recovered two handguns in his room, Baymon admitted knowledge of the guns.
Baymon refused to say how he got the guns or when he got them.
