The Complainant having reviewed the applicable reports believes the following facts to be true: On or about April 9, 2025, around 8:34 A.M., St. Paul Police Department officers executed a search warrant at the apartment located on [ADDRESS REDACTED], St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota, for Lonney Maxy Whyte’s [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, unit on report of illegal narcotic activity as well as human trafficking. Officers made contact at the apartment [APT REDACTED] and the Defendant answered the door.
Defendant and another female exited the apartment. Officers searched the apartment and observed digital scales, hypodermic needles, sandwich bags located in a shoe box in a dresser drawer, used and burnt paraphernalia pipes, pieces of tin foil with white residue and pieces of tin foil that was burnt and was found underneath a pillow on the bed of Defendant’s bedroom. Officers also located a replica firearm in Defendant’s dresser along with multiple cellphones in locked cabinet. Officers conducted a search incident of arrest of the Defendant and completed a safety pat-down of the Defendant.
During the pat-down of the Defendant, officers discovered a small rock object in the right coin pocket of Defendant’s pants. Defendant gave consent to the officer to remove the rock object from his pants. Officers pulled out a tightly folded piece of aluminum foil. Inside the aluminum foil was a small amount of white and brownish powdery substance. During the pat-down, Defendant freely admitted he was a narcotics user. A presumptive test of the white and brownish substance from the Defendant’s pocket revealed the presence of fentanyl and the fentanyl weighed 0.05 grams.
