On December 9, 2025, Bloomington Police Officers responded to Residence Inn Hotel at [ADDRESS REDACTED] South, Bloomington, Hennepin County. Officers arrived and were requested to trespass two guests that had overstayed their checkout time. Hotel employees reported that the two individuals had been asked to extend their stay or leave the room over the course of several hours. The two guests were eventually identified as ALLISION LEIGH OLDHAM, Defendant Oldham herein, and WILLIAM MATTHEW ALDRIDGE, Defendant Aldridge herein.
In the process of communicating with the guests about extending their stay, Hotel employees stated that Defendant Oldham had come to the front desk to extend their stay. Defendant Oldham provided a Virginia identification in the name of "Zoe" with Defendant Oldham's picture on it. She then showed the employee her Apple Pay that had several credit cards on it. Defendant Oldham was unable to find a valid form of payment and went back to the hotel room. Defendant Oldham left behind a small notebook.
An employee retrieved the notebook and noticed it had information in it that lead them to believe the parties were involved in fraudulent activity. There was a third guest that was in the hotel room, however they had left and it was later determined that person was using a fake name to book the room under. Officers spoke with Defendant Oldham who provided Officers with a Tennessee identification in her own name. When she took her ID out of her luggage, it was inside of a plastic ID organizer. Defendant Aldridge stated he did not have an ID on him and provided his twin brother's name and date of birth.
Officers realized that he was in fact, not his twin brother. Defendant Aldridge was placed under arrest for providing a false name of a real person. Officers located used needles and two containers of suspected methamphetamine inside. Officers also a located a check belonging to someone else on his person, four phone sim cards and a bank account with routing number in his wallet. Hotel employees gave Officers the notebook Defendant Aldridge left. Inside were over 80 people's names, social security numbers, dates of birth, phone numbers, addresses, credit card numbers, bank information, passwords, hotel information, and Dark Web internet addresses of where to purchase such information.
Defendant Oldham was placed under arrest. In her possession was a check made out to her true name in the amount of $2,800 signed by "Allison Oldham." The check belonged to M. L. M. Officers also located several identification cards out of different states including the Virginia ID Defendant Oldham used at the front desk of the hotel. In the plastic organizer, she also had credit cards in other people's names. In the Defendant's sweatshirt pocket was suspected methamphetamine. Officers began attempting to contact the names listed in the notebook Defendant Oldham was in possession of at the front desk of the hotel.
