Thomas Kucala was dispatched to the Big Lake Chamber of Commerce at [ADDRESS REDACTED] North, [APT REDACTED], in the city of Big Lake, Sherburne County Minnesota, on a report of suspicious activity. Upon entering the office, Inv. Kucala could see pens on the floor and cabinets open. Inv. Kucala spoke with J. B. J. B. Stated that she left work and locked up on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. When she returned on Monday, July 28, 2025, she used her key to obtain access to the room. She saw the pens on the ground and thought it was strange.
There were many items moved around the office. She called public works to see if someone was doing work in the office. Inv. Kucala looked in a tunnel under the office and found items such as paper, water bottles and some portfolios. Inv. Kucala took DNA samples from a tool kit, refrigerator door, a printer and a printer table. Inv. Kucala took the water bottles. As Inv. Kucala went into the tunnel and followed it east, he located several footprints. He and Big Lake Officer Autumn Hanson located a Lupulin VIP card, THC vape, AEON ID Badge belonging to J. B. And an empty 16 oz Miller Lite can.
Officer Hanson and Inv. Kucala followed to the southeast corner of an old school building and found spray paint on the first floor hallway, broken interior windows, spray paint on walls, two blue gloves, a two liter Fanta bottle and a two liter 7 up bottle, a broken jar of salsa. The soda bottles and chips were on a table that had chairs pulled up in a circle. Assisting officers located 16 oz Miller Lite cans and a tape dispenser. Officers located an additional entry into the tunnel that went into the Pizza Factory.
Officers learned that several Pizza Factory employees that went into the Pizza Factory after hours. They were identified as Carter Dwayne Juntilla, [DOB REDACTED], Nicholas Ashton Geisler, [DOB REDACTED], and Jakob Henry Osowski, [DOB REDACTED]. Inv. Kucala interviewed Juntilla. Juntilla said that they went out to the bar and had a few drinks. He drove them back to the Pizza Factory to hang out. They got the idea to go into the tunnels. They went the wrong way and went west. They got to a hatch, opened it and went into a room.
They grabbed a few things. After a short time, they went back through the tunnel to the Pizza Factory. Geisler stated that he opened the refrigerator to get more lighting. They took water bottles out of the refrigerator. One of them found an ID for an employee. According to all of the parties, it took all three of them to open the hatch. They didn’t remember the toolbox but think that Osowski may have touched that. They were drinking Miller Lite. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn.
