On March 25, 2026, at approximately 12:22pm, Crystal police officers were patrolling in the area of Oakdale Avenue N., and West Broadway in the City of Robbinsdale, Hennepin County when they received a notification that a stolen White Hyundai with Florida license plates (number provided) was in the area. The theft of the vehicle occurred sometime between 4:00pm, and 9:43pm on March 24. Police located the stolen vehicle, which was occupied. They approached the vehicle, and ordered occupants out of the car and determined the driver was MAKEYSA NYSA MORGAN-FIVELAND, [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein.

Police arrested Defendant who agreed to provide a statement to police. In the recorded statement, Defendant acknowledged that she had been driving the vehicle when it was stopped and jumped into the backseat when police approached. She knew the vehicle was stolen and had received it from another individual.
