On 12/28/2024 at about 0001 hours, Roseville Police were dispatched to a report of a vehicle crashing into the garage door of Hamline House Condominiums at [ADDRESS REDACTED] N in Roseville, Ramsey County. Upon arrival, police saw a large panel from an overhead underground garage door laying in the middle of the parking lot. The door was severely damaged and it appeared a vehicle had driven through it. Several residents said they heard a loud crash coming from the garage. One said he looked outside and saw a white SUV circling the lot at a high rate of speed before driving south on Hamline Ave N. Police were then approached by a resident; GNT. GNT said that said her ex-boyfriend was Treshawn Dejuan CHAPMAN-WILSON [DOB REDACTED]. She said they used to live with CHAPMAN-WILSON who had a history of being abusive.
GNT said she moved out of her residence with CHAPMAN-WILSON and moved in with GNT’s mother at [ADDRESS REDACTED] N. Despite the move, CHAPMAN-WILSON continually sent her unwanted communications. Earlier in the evening, she said, CHAPMAN-WILSON sent her messages saying he was intoxicated, wanted to see her, and was going to drive to her apartment at [ADDRESS REDACTED] N. He arrived there at about 2345 hours. He was driving GNT’s white Mitsubishi Outlander (MN/APJ159). He sent GNT multiple messages telling her she needed to come downstairs.
If she refused, he said, he was going drive her vehicle into the building. When GNT did not go downstairs, CHAPMAN-WILSON drove her vehicle through the underground garage door and then fled the scene. Police reviewed the messages and saw that CHAPMAN-WILSON had sent GNT several hundred messages throughout the evening. The messages corroborated GNT’s account of events. The messages also referenced the vehicle being damaged, asked GNT to tell police that the vehicle had been stolen, and said he would get into a "shootout" with law enforcement if confronted.
CCTV footage from the apartment complex further confirmed GNT’s account of the events. The estimate to repair the garage door was $3,967.00. In addition, the cost to secure the door on the date of the incident was $680.
