On July 3, 2025, Bloomington Police Department officers were dispatched to a past action theft occurring on June 26, 2025, at a store within the Mall of America. The Mall of America is located in Bloomington, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The reporting party noted that four individuals came into the store and began placing candles and other items from the store shelves into their bags. With the items still in their possession, three of the individuals, including the individual identified by Mall security as JEREMY JAMES HARRIS [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter Defendant, exited the store without making any attempt to pay for the items.
Defendant did not have permission to remove the store items without first paying for them. Later the same day, Defendant was again observed with the same individuals in another store, within the Mall of America, removing items from the store shelves and placing them in their bag. Defendant again exited the store without making any attempt to pay for the items in her possession. Defendant did not have permission to remove the items without first paying for them. The total amount of loss to the two stores caused by the three individuals removing items without payment is approximately $1,428.35. Defendant is not currently in custody.
The State respectfully requests this complaint issue via summons.
