Complainant, an investigator with the Wayzata Police Department, after reviewing all of the files in this matter, believes the following to be true: On December 12, 2025, at the beginning of his shift, Wayzata Police Officer C. Martins met with Community Service Officer Leigh [DOB REDACTED] )”CSO Leigh.” At approximately 8 pm on that date, Officer Martins, who was in plain clothes, and CSO Leigh went to The Grocer’s Table at 326 So. Broadway in the City of Wayzata to perform an alcohol compliance check.
They were greeted by the bartender, later identified as Charles Graham Jevnick (DOB 09.27.2000), hereinafter the “Defendant.” The Defendant asked each of them what they would like to drink. CSO Leigh ordered a “Pinot Grigio.” The Defendant did not ask to see her ID nor did he ask if she was over 21. The Defendant retrieved a wine glass, filled it with white wine and served it to CSO Leigh. Officer Martins then advised the Defendant he was a Wayzata Police Officer and that Defendant had failed the compliance check.
Officer Martins obtained the receipt showing CSO had been served a glass of “Via Aphina Pinot Grigio” for $14.00.
