In domestic violence inquiry, KJW said she does believe BROWN-ROBERTS will seriously injure or kill her.
She said BROWN-ROBERTS has told her he will kill her. On November 15, 2025, at approximately 1:19 P.M., Saint Paul Officers were dispatched to Saint Paul headquarters on a domestic report. KJW reported a domestic assault that occurred against her the day prior, November 14, 2025. KJW said on November 14th, at around 10:00-11:00 A.M., she was at BROWN- ROBERTS’s apartment on 484 Temperance, Saint Paul, County of Ramsey. KJW had been staying with him for short period because she is homeless. KJW was in BROWN-ROBERTS’s bedroom and brought up his ex-girlfriend.
BROWN-ROBERTS became upset, yelled at her, and said he was going to kill her. At some point, he grabbed her by the neck with both hands for approximately one minute. She did not lose consciousness, but her breathing was obstructed. She fought back and pushed him to the floor. He bit her left hand. She bit him on his back. She tried to grab her belongings to leave, but BROWN-ROBERTS pulled her arm to prevent her from leaving. KJW had a bite mark on the top of her left hand and a small red mark on her neck.
In a subsequent conversation with an investigator, KJW said BROWN-ROBERTS threatened to kill her and to have everyone he knows kill her. When being choked, she thought she was going to die. KJW also said he owns a Glock firearm. TW, KJW’s mother, spoke to an investigator. She said KJW called her and asked her to pick her up because she needed help. KJW told her she was bitten. She and KJW went to the apartment, but no one answered the door. There were two backpacks left outside of the door.
