On 12/07/2025 at 11:34 hours, St. Paul Police were dispatched to [ADDRESS REDACTED] in St. Paul, Ramsey County on a motor vehicle theft. The complainant said that a golf cart belonging to the Saint Paul Farmers Market had just been stolen. Upon arrival, police spoke to JMG who said that sometime between 10:15 hours and 11:00 hours someone stole a 2025 Evolution Turfman golf cart (VIN: EVBE0566560) that was parked at Broadway and 4th St. The golf cart said “Saint Paul Farmers Market” on the side and was valued at $10,000. Police searched the area and found the stolen golf cart at the homeless encampment at Warner Road and Fish Hatchery Road.
A suspect, later identified as Yeng LOR [DOB REDACTED], was in the driver's seat and the key was in the ignition. In the back of the cart was a black suitcase and a green duffle bag that belonged to LOR. LOR was detained. He had active warrants. In a post-Miranda interview, LOR said he got the golf cart from downtown Saint Paul. LOR said he was cold and had a long way to walk which is why he took it. For purposes of Rule 6.
