On December 9, 2025, at approximately 7:41 am, deputies were dispatched to a residence on 20 ½ Street NW in Stewartville, Olmsted County, Minnesota. Victim (adult male identified in police reports) called and reported his son, CODY EUGENE MORSE [DOB REDACTED] was out of control. Dispatch noted they could hear MORSE yelling and screaming in the background. Deputy Klaysmat arrived on scene and observed MORSE on the front porch. Deputy Klaysmat took a statement from MORSE. MORSE stated that Victim [NAME REDACTED] was going crazy and it caused an argument.
MORSE stated Victim accused him of using meth, which MORSE denied. MORSE stated he was yelling at Victim [NAME REDACTED] called 911, but did not shove anyone. MORSE then entered the residence and began yelling at Victim again. Deputy Klaysmat was able to separate the two and took a statement from Victim. Victim [NAME REDACTED] is his son and lives at the residence with him. Victim [NAME REDACTED] has been acting crazy all weekend and Victim [NAME REDACTED] was using meth. Victim stated that MORSE took his phone on Saturday night.
Victim stated he finally got his phone back that morning. When MORSE saw that Victim [NAME REDACTED], he grabbed him by the neck and his shirt collar. MORSE said to Victim, “I am going to take you out” and “I am gonna f*** you up.” Victim [NAME REDACTED] was going to kill him. Victim [NAME REDACTED] had to go outside and call 911 because he was afraid of what MORSE would do if he found out he called 911. MORSE has two qualified domestic violence related offense convictions in court file ••-CR-••-•••• (disposition date: 06/09/2022) and court file ••-CR-••-•••• (disposition date: 06/09/2022). FAILURE TO APPEAR FOR COURT IS A CRIMINAL OFFENSE AND MAY RESULT IN ADDITIONAL CRIMINAL CHARGES BEING IMPOSED AND PUNISHED AS PROVIDED IN MINNESOTA STATUTES SECTION 609.49.
