Investigators with the Central Minnesota Human Trafficking Task Force (CMHTT) was working at the St. Cloud Police Department located in the City of St. Cloud, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota and created and posted an online advertisement on Skipthegames.com. Skipthegames.com is a website known to law enforcement, through training and experience, to be commonly used to solicit prostitution in the St. Cloud area. The advertisement was titled "Incall special! Today only! Ready for sum afternoon delight 12." It featured three photographs of a female wearing underwear and a t-shirt in provocative poses.
The advertisement stated, in part: "incall special! Here 2 make u smile and all your dreams cum true. Clean and available. Incall only. Not here 2 play games or negotiate. I will leave you wanting more! Deep throat goddess!!! I do not affiliate with law enforcement. 150 qv 225hh 300hr. Bare and greek r extra. Open to requests. Cant wait to make ur dreams cum true! Please respect my time and ill respect urs. Don't message me till ur ready to meet. Please don't call I wont answer. Text only. Cant wait to meet u." The advertisement also listed services including "oral receiving," "intercourse," "oral, vaginal intercourse, anal intercourse," "porn star experience," "domination," "BDSM," and "Deep Throat." Law enforcement knows from training and experience that "QV" commonly refers to a "quick visit" of approximately 15–20 minutes, "HH" refers to a half-hour (30 minutes), and "HR" refers to an hour (60 minutes). "Bare" is commonly used to mean sex without a condom, and "Greek" commonly refers to anal sex.
On July 25, 2025, at approximately 11:00 A.M., the phone number listed in the Skip the Games advertisement received a text message from an individual later identified as David Scott Wolfley Sr., [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein. The defendant sent a message stating, "Good morning do you offer massage appointments?" Law enforcement knows from training and experience that sex buyers often use the term "massage" as a code word for sexual services. The advertisement did not list any massage or massage-related services.
The following text message exchange then occurred: Investigator: "Hun I need money I work I don't mess with massages lol" Defendant: "What do you need money for cuz I don't want to enter into anything illegal and walk into a trap." Investigator: "LMAO ok hun I fuuuuuuck for money I don't waste time" Defendant: "I understand that but I've walked into a trap before that's why I don't want to call it that" Investigator: "OK so u interested or no?" Defendant: "Yeah I'm interested where are you located." The investigator asked how much time the defendant was seeking, and the defendant responded, "1/2 of your time would be enough I think." During continued communications, the defendant repeatedly expressed concern that the meeting might be a law-enforcement "trap," stating, "And I have walked into a trap already once and I know St. Cloud area has a task force set up just for that," and that the task force was "targeting your clients." The defendant then sent a photograph of $300 in cash, which aligned with the advertisement's stated price for an hour date for sex.
