All of the conduct described herein occurred within the County of St. Louis, State of Minnesota, unless otherwise noted. On November 2, 2025, at approximately 1:20 A.M., officers with the Duluth Police Department responded to a call of suspicious activity at [ADDRESS REDACTED], Duluth, St. Louis County, Minnesota. The initial call stated the man later identified as HUNTER DWIGHT SNOW, [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter referred to as the Defendant was acting "weird" and had a large knife in his pocket. Officers later received a second call that the male, wearing a noticeable red hat, and still carrying the knife, was walking towards Spurs and and acting odd.
Officers arrived at the Flame night club and spotted the suspect wearing the red hat. At the same time, officers were flagged down by a male born in 2001 who explained that someone tried to stab his friend. The male born in 2001 pointed at the Defendant wearing the red hat. Officer Nitz saw the wooden handle sticking out of his right pockets that looked like a handle to a knife. The Defendant turned eastbound into the Number 1 alley off of First Avenue West where officers gave verbal commands to the Defendant to stop.
The Defendant complied and was detained without incident. The large unsheathed kitchen knife was taken out of the Defendant's pocket. The male born in 2001 explained that he and his friends, a male born in 2004 and another male born in 1996, hereinafter referred to as the Victim. The Victim [NAME REDACTED] was sitting outside of the Flame night club talking with his friends about how they were going to pay for the cover in the bar. The Victim explained his friend grabbed him and told him the guy behind him, the Defendant, was trying to stab him.
The Victim did not see the Defendant attempt to stab him or make any motions. The Defendant was walking away from the Victim when the Victim [NAME REDACTED]. The Defendant was saying things such as "get the f*** out of here." The Victim explained that he thought he was going to get stabbed by the Defendant because there was something about the Defendant's eyes. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn. Stat. 609.49, intentional failure to appear for duly scheduled court appearances may result in additional criminal charges, and in addition to any arrest warrant that may otherwise be issued by the Court.
