On March 6, 2026, Officer Makenzie Uhl was conducting patrol on County Road 82 when she observed Desiree Roberts (“the Defendant”) walking in the direction of McKay Avenue. Off. Uhl knew that the Defendant had release conditions prohibiting her from being at [ADDRESS REDACTED], Lot 6. Off. Uhl conducted patrol of that address and observed the Defendant walk into the residence. Dispatch provided a copy of the release conditions, which were signed by the Defendant on February 26, 2026 and specifically excluded her from [ADDRESS REDACTED], Lot 6, located in Alexandria, Douglas County, Minnesota.

Uhl located the Defendant in the trailer and told her she was not supposed to be there. The Defendant said she did not know that and that the trailer resident invited her over. Off. Uhl showed the Defendant the release conditions which she signed, but the Defendant maintained she didn’t know she could not be there.
The Defendant was placed under arrest for violating the release conditions. During a search incident to arrest, Off. Uhl located a small baggie of what appeared to be methamphetamine from her right front pocket.
