On January 1, 2026, Officer Spencer Peterson, Officer Luke Hulshizer, and Officer Jacob Charlton of the Rochester Police Department responded to [ADDRESS REDACTED] SW in Rochester, Minnesota. The reporting party advised that A. S. (an adult female fully identified in the incident report) was passed out next to a storage unit and wanted her trespassed. Upon arrival, Officer Hulshizer met with A. S. While Officer Peterson and Officer Charlton made contact with two individuals that were passed out in a vehicle in front of the storage unit.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as A. C. (an adult male fully identified in the incident report) and the passenger was identified as Ahna Palma Walter, who had an outstanding warrant. While speaking with A. C., Officer Charlton noticed he had raspy-slurred speech, slack facial muscles, droopy eyelids, and constricted pupils. Officer Charlton asked A. C. To step out of the vehicle and field sobriety tests were performed. A. C. Was subsequently placed under arrest for driving while impaired and a search of the vehicle was conducted.
On the passenger floorboard where Walker was sitting, Officer Peterson located numerous pieces of tinfoil and hollowed-out pens. Inside of a folded-up piece of tinfoil, Officer Peterson found white powder which was suspected to be fentanyl. The substance later tested positive for fentanyl, a Schedule II Controlled Substance, and weighed approximately 0.05 grams. On this basis as well as the outstanding warrant, Walker was placed under arrest and transported to the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center (ADC). PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: YOU MUST APPEAR FOR EVERY COURT HEARING REGARDING THIS CASE. FAILURE TO APPEAR FOR COURT IS A CRIMINAL OFFENSE AND MAY RESULT IN ADDITIONAL CRIMINAL CHARGES BEING IMPOSED AND PUNISHED AS PROVIDED IN MINNESOTA STATUTES SECTION 609.49.
