On 10/02/2025, a Home Depot corporate organized retail crime investigator reported a series of thefts committed by the same suspect between the dates of 06/26/2025 and 09/19/2025. The suspect was identified as Jason Allen Suydam, [DOB redacted], hereinafter the Defendant. During a series of visits at a Home Depot in Anoka County, Defendant skip scans at self-checkouts where he intentionally conducts multiple transactions in an apparent attempt to confuse the supervising cashier of which items are being scanned.
Defendant then leaves the store without scanning or paying for certain merchandise.
