On December 18, 2025, ALBERT DARNELL IVORY [DOB REDACTED] was granted a conditional release on felony VOCSL 5 charges in Ramsey County District Court file ••-CR-••-••••. Ivory was arrested in possession of cocaine after police saw him making hand-to-hand transactions. On January 16, 2026, Ivory was again granted a conditional release on charges of violating the HRO and felony VOCSL 5 in Ramsey County District Court file ••-CR-••-••••. At around 10:40 PM on January 20, 2026, officers were sent to [ADDRESS REDACTED] East, St. Paul, Ramsey County on an assault.
Officers spoke to TF [DOB REDACTED] who said the address is a Department of Correction house. TF and Ivory both live in the facility. TF said he was in the living room when Ivory arrived already upset. Ivory entered the living room and began yelling. TF grabbed his items, stood up from the couch, and tried to leave the living room. Ivory blocked the path to TF’s bedroom. Ivory punched TF’s face twice. TF did not fight back – TF’s hands were full of his items. TF separated from Ivory and called police.
Ivory was taken into custody. Ivory threatened TF. Ivory said if he was going to be charged with assault when he didn’t assault TF he might as well actually assault TF. Ivory said he was going to beat up TF when he was released from jail. Ivory walked towards TF, and officers had to push Ivory away. Officers spoke to a woman in charge of the house in partnership with Ramsey County Corrections. The woman checked surveillance video which she said clearly showed Ivory punch TF’s face. Ivory has 9 prior felony convictions dating back to 1990 including a murder out of Illinois.
Ivory has 2 prior qualified domestic violence-related offense convictions within the past 10 years: On April 21, 2022, Ivory was sentenced on an assault in the fourth degree in Washington County District Court file 82-CR-22-6. On September 25, 2018, Ivory was sentenced on a misdemeanor assault in Ramsey County District Court file ••-CR-••-••••.
