On November 21, 2025, at approximately 7:30 P.M., Officer Buresh was dispatched to InTown Suites located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] N. W., Room 139, in the City of Coon Rapids, Anoka County, Minnesota, on a report of a domestic in progress. The caller, C. B., reported a physical domestic between H. I. And Tyler James Mantel, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with H. I. Who advised that she got locked out of the room and was pounding on the door to be let in.
H. I. Learned that defendant was passed out due to drinking a large amount of liquor and that's why he was not opening the door. Both H. I. And defendant confirmed that nothing physical occurred between them. Officers observed that defendant had a staggered gait, red and watery eyes and spoke with slurred speech. Officers could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage on defendant. C. B. And H. I. Packed up all of H. I.'s belongings and confirmed that they were leaving the area. Officers left the scene.
Officers were called back approximately 10 minutes later on a report of defendant leaving the location in his gold Town and Country bearing MN license plate [PLATE REDACTED]. Officers arrived on scene and located the Town and Country. Officers made contact with defendant who was in the driver's seat and asked him to step out of the vehicle. Defendant showed balance and motor skills impairment on the following field sobriety tests: horizontal gaze nystagmus; walk and turn; one‐legged stand. Defendant subsequently blew a fail reading of.156 on a PBT tester box at the scene. 2. After being read a Minnesota Breath Test Advisory, defendant agreed to submit to a DataMaster test.
That test revealed the defendant's alcohol concentration to be 0.12 at 9:02 P.M. On November 21, 2025. 3. Complainant has reviewed documents pertaining to defendant's Minnesota driving record which reveal that defendant's Minnesota driving privilege was revoked for alcohol‐related incident(s), and/or defendant was convicted of impaired driving offense(s) from incident dates as noted in the following table.
