At approximately 1:30 PM on 12/12/2025, Officer arrived at 7XX E 17th S., Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, in response to learning the location of a federal fugitive. Federal fugitive was in a black SUV with a known MN license plate, herein Suspect Vehicle. Officer observed the fugitive enter the passenger side of Suspect Vehicle. Officer observed another marked squad vehicle approach Suspect Vehicle with overhead lights illuminated. Officer pulled behind Suspect Vehicle with overhead lights illuminated.
Suspect Vehicle spun its wheels, initially failing to get traction given the snow on the road. Eventually the tires got traction and Suspect Vehicle fled law enforcement. Female, later identified as Jordan Kate Julia Mitchell, herein Defendant, was observed as the driver of Suspect Vehicle. Defendant is also the registered owner of Suspect Vehicle. Officers located Suspect Vehicle parked shortly thereafter. Defendant admitted to fleeing law enforcement given the presence of the fugitive in her car.
Defendant is currently in custody.
