On January 10, 2025, at approximately 2124 hours, Edina Police Officers were in the area of York Avenue South and 70th Street, Edina, Hennepin County. Officers observed a vehicle with loud cracking and popping exhaust with a suspended object in the front windshield. Officers stopped the vehicle. Officers identified the driver as EMILY ROSE HARPER-HELLIE, Defendant herein. Officers observed in plain view marijuana shake on the gear shifter and could smell a strong odor of fresh marijuana. Officers advised that the vehicle would be searched.
The Defendant advised Officers that there was marijuana in the center console. A half-smoked joint was located on the passenger floorboard, another joint in a purse, and marijuana was located in the center console. Officers located more marijuana in the back seat and then in the trunk. Also in the trunk was suspected psilocybin mushrooms. Officers also located suspected methamphetamine in the back seat. Officers weighed and field-tested the following: - 3.84 grams of FTP methamphetamine, - 1.51, 11.18, 12.75, 7.69, 0.45, 111.21, 1112.68 grams totaling 257.47 grams of marijuana, and, - 33.92, 9.65, 4.84 grams totaling 48.41 grams of psilocybin mushrooms.
The Defendant is currently out of custody.
