On October 15, 2025, at approximately 11:44 P.M., Richfield Police were on patrol when a vehicle began flagging them down to tell them there was a male in vehicle who had hit a sign and appeared to be impaired near 78th Street and Nicollet Avenue South in Richfield, Hennepin County. When the officer shined the flashlight in the vehicle, he observed loose marijuana in the center console and on the floorboards in the front and rear of the car. Defendant told police that the vehicle had just started smoking and that his buddy was on the vehicle to get him. Police asked if he was driving the vehicle and where the keys are, to which Defendant stated he had the keys but claimed to not have been driving.

Police located approximately 756 grams of marijuana. Police also located 200 counts of THC concentrate vape, each containing 2 grams of concentrate per the packaging, equaling approximately 400 grams of concentrate.
While police transported Defendant, he made several comments about returning to Egypt as he did not want to deal with the charges or probation. At present, Defendant is not in custody.
