Victim [NAME REDACTED] had rented a skid loader to Phillip William Brown, [DOB REDACTED]. During the rental period, Brown called and was upset because the skid loader broke. The business told Brown they would reimburse him for part of the rental period. Later, Brown called back and demanded reimbursement from the business for $2,000 a day. Victim informed Brown that the business would no longer be renting skid loaders to him. At that point, Brown threatened to come into the business and “flash his guns” to them.
Victim [NAME REDACTED] was inappropriate to threaten him with firearms. Brown then said they needed to settle this “man to man” and asked if Victim wanted to go to war. Victim [NAME REDACTED], and Brown responded that “the war has already started.” Victim [NAME REDACTED] was concerned about his safety and the safety of others in the business and considered closing the business early. Later the same day, law enforcement were called out to Brown’s residence because he was firing rounds at his property.
