On January 26, 2026, Deputy Joe O'Toole was dispatched to [address omitted] 53 in Bigfork, Itasca County due to a reported domestic assault. Upon arrival, Deputy O'Toole made contact with the suspect, Clinton Lee Worcester [DOB redacted], who was sitting outside of the home. Deputy O'Toole asked Worcester what had happened, but noted that Worcester attempted to dodge the question. Worcester instead told Deputy O'Toole how he had been on the fire department for a long time and that the stuff he had seen and done was starting to eat at him.
Deputy O'Toole again asked him what happened and Worcester continued to avoid the question. Worcester then began to cry and tell Deputy O'Toole about his day. Worcester said that he got up at 5:30 A.M., and got home around 4:30 P.M. Worcester told Deputy O'Toole that he had three drinks of whiskey waters. Deputy O'Toole asked about the arguments that took place. Worcester said that the victim, M. K. W., quit her job two years ago to pursue higher education and that things had been tough since. When asked if things got physical, Worcester said that he couldn't remember.
Deputy O'Toole then spoke with people inside the home. Deputy O'Toole spoke with B. A. W. And A. K. W. B. A. W. Said that she got home from basketball around 8:00 P.M., and that she heard her dad, Worcester, yelling. B. A. W. Said she came out of her bedroom and saw Worcester had M. K. W. In the corner of their kitchen and was grabbing her wrists and yelling at M. K. W. B. A. W. Said that M. K. W. Was trying to get away but that she couldn't. B. A. W. Said that Worcester called M. K. W. Names. B. A. W. Said that she was afraid Worcester was going to hurt her.
B. A. W. Said that Worcester called her a b**** and a c***. Worcester then put his hand in the air and B. A. W. Put her arm up to defend herself thinking that Worcester was going to hit her. She said that Worcester did not hit or swing at her. A. K. W. Said that she heard yelling but that she hides in her room when things in the house like this happen. Both daughters, B. A. W. And A. K. W., said that these altercations have been going on for a while now and M. K. W. Said they have been getting worse as time goes on.
Deputy Grossell spoke with M. K. W. M. K. W. Said that Worcester gets drunk, yells, and screams every night, and that this has been going on for more than just this evening. M. K. W. Said that Worcester will punch everything from the island, to the wall, to the bedroom. M. K. W. Said that when she arrived home that night she had not been home for ten seconds when Worcester started screaming at her, calling her a b**** and a c***. M. K. W. Said she attempted to de-escalate him but that she wasn't able to.
M. K. W. Said she was doing dishes and propped her phone up at which time she started videoing. Worcester then came up and got in M. K. W.'s face and screamed at her. M. K. W. Asked Worcester to leave her alone but he didn't. Worcester then grabbed her wrists. M. K. W. Said that Worcester had her hands wrapped in her sweatshirt and that she had to "knee him in the nuts" so that she could get away as she was pinned in the corner. Deputy Grossell reviewed the video which corroborated what M. K. W. Reported.
