Your complainant is employed by the Columbia Heights Police Department. In that capacity, complainant has reviewed official reports filed and has learned substantially the following: On November 15, 2025, Officer Austin and CSO AHA, [DOB REDACTED] were conducting alcohol compliance checks at businesses in the City of Columbia Heights. At approximately 6:11 pm, CSO AHA entered Speedway, [ADDRESS REDACTED], Columbia Heights, Anoka County, MN and purchased a 12 pack of Busch Beer for $12.99 from the female employee later identified as Alexandra Lea Caroon, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein.
AHA noted he exited the store with the beer and advised Officer Austin that the defendant did not ask for his ID, prior to purchasing the alcohol. Officer Austin then entered the store, made contact with the Defendant and retrieved the original Twenty dollar bill used in the transaction. Officer Austin spoke with the Defendant who stated she was unaware AHA was under the age of 21. Officer Austin advised the Defendant that she would be charged by formal complaint at a later date.
