JOHNNIE BLOODSAW JR. [DOB REDACTED], “Defendant” herein, was convicted of Soliciting/Induce/Promote Prostitution on 12/11/2000 (27CR00061928). Defendant was also convicted of Third-Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct, Solicitation, Inducement and Promotion of Prostitution, and Receiving Profit from Prostitution on 03/25/1991 (27CR90087796). These convictions require Defendant to register as a predatory offender. Defendant is required to register until 04/30/2042. On August 6, 2025, Defendant signed his annual Predatory Offender Registration packet, which included initialing all 27 lines of the Duty to Register requirements.
Defendant is required to register: the year, model, make, license plate number, and color of all motor vehicles owned or regularly driven by the person; and, the expiration year for the motor vehicle license plate tabs of all motor vehicles owned by the person. Defendant made a change to his current vehicle section, marking the current listed vehicle, a 2001 Chrysler Town and Country, as no longer operated and left the “new vehicle” section blank. On November 16, 2025, police received information that defendant was engaged in suspicious behavior outside his home at [ADDRESS REDACTED], Bloomington, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
Police found out the defendant was driving a blue Ford Winstar. The van had Minnesota plate TEJ139. The van was also observed with a plate LBU136. A young female was seen inside the van. On December 2, 2025, police surveilled Defendant’s address and saw the same van parked in the driveway. Police approached the van and located a female inside the van. She told police that Defendant has allowed her to sleep in the van for two weeks, that he drives her in the car, and has driven her to pick up narcotics.
She said defendant owns the car. Police searched the vehicle. They located a black bag on the front passenger side. Inside the bag were small clear individual packaged baggies containing crystalline substance, suspected narcotics, and a prescription pill bottle with pills, jewelry, and watches. A scale used to weigh narcotics was in the driver’s side door. Two license plates (LBU136) were inside of the vehicle. Police made contact with the defendant and arrested him. A handicap paddle, which came back to Bloodsaw, was stored on the ceiling of the van above the driver’s seat.
The narcotics were weighed without packaging and NIK tested positive for.30 grams of methamphetamine and.29 grams of methamphetamine Defendant was arrested and transported to the jail. Once at the Bloomington Police Department,.96 grams of methamphetamine was located in Defendant’s sock. He also had $1,000.00 in cash. A search warrant was executed in Defendant’s house. In Defendant's room, police located: - A small scale with white residue. - Clear sandwich bags known to be used to package narcotics for sale. - Bubble pie with methamphetamine residence - A USB drive - A "can hide" that contained a large chunk of suspected methamphetamine and $400 cash - Two prescription bottles filled with Gabapentin belonging to someone else.
