The following is based on your complainant’s review of the reports of other officers and your complainant’s own investigation: On January 9, 2026, at about 11:40am, White Bear Lake Police responded to Silverstar Car Wash, [ADDRESS REDACTED]., White Bear Lake, Ramsey County on a report of a customer pointing an apparent handgun at employees. On arrival, officers met with an employee, DLS ([DOB REDACTED]). He said that a short time earlier, a male customer, “Mike Longville” had arrived at the car wash in a pickup truck but was unable to gain access.
Records indicate that the registered owner of the truck is the defendant, MICHAEL DONALD LONGVILLE ([DOB REDACTED]). DLS continued that he found that the defendant’s credit card was expired. He said the defendant became argumentative, and he called over his manager. He said that the defendant and the manager argued and began to yell at one another. He said that eventually the manager exited the booth and threw a “magnet” at the defendant. He said that the defendant then pointed an apparent handgun at both of them, yelling something like, “You want to throw something at me again?” He said that he was frightened during the incident.
The manager, ATR ([DOB REDACTED]), told officers that she confirmed to the defendant that his card appeared to be expired. She said that they argued, and eventually he told her to back up and leave the business. She said that she became angry, exited the pay booth, and pretended to throw something at the defendant. She said that in response, he pointed at her a black object that appeared to be a gun. She said that she believed that the defendant could have “ended her life” during the incident. Surveillance video was recovered.
It shows the argument between the defendant and ATR, during which she makes a throwing motion toward him. The defendant then points toward the pay booth a black object that appears to be a handgun. He continues to point it, gesturing it slightly as he talks, for at least five seconds. The defendant has a valid permit to carry a pistol. Through his attorney, the defendant declined to provide a statement.
