1. Your complainant is employed by the Coon Rapids Police Department. In that capacity, complainant has reviewed official police reports and has learned substantially the following: On December 1, 2025, at approximately 5:43 P.M., Officer Wallsmith was dispatched to a domestic at [ADDRESS REDACTED] N. W., #210, Coon Rapids, Anoka County, Minnesota. On arrival, the officer met with L. A. B. Who stated she and her husband, later identified as Daniel Joseph Brock, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein, had gotten into an argument over defendant cheating on her.
L. A. B. Said she found the information on his phone and confronted him. L. A. B. And defendant began yelling at each other and she wanted to get away from him so she threw something at his TV. Defendant then grabbed her and pinned her down on the bedroom bed. L. A. B. Said she was scared of defendant. The officer observed L. A. B. Had some cuts to the top of her hands and her chin was red. L. A. B. Said her daughters came into the bedroom and she told them to call 911. Defendant then let go of her, ran into the living room and unplugged the Wi‐Fi so they could not call.
L. A. B. Said they haven't paid their phone bill so they are only able to call through Wi‐ Fi. Officers spoke with L. A. B.'s daughters, B. M. G.and M. K. G., who said they overheard their mother start screaming and observed defendant holding L. A. B. Down on the bed. B. M. G. And M. K. G said they observed defendant throw L. A. B. Off of the bed and then he went into the bathroom and threw all her makeup all over. B. M. G. Said her mother told her to call the police and defendant went into the living room and unplugged the Wi‐Fi preventing her from calling.
Officer Wallinga spoke with defendant who said he and L. A. B. Got into an argument. Defendant said L. A. B. Took his phone and smashed it and then took a flowerpot and threw it at a TV. Defendant admitted he did not strike L. A. B. But was on top of her at one point. 2. Complainant is informed that defendant was convicted, on January 28, 2020, of violating a harassment restraining order, Anoka County, Minnesota, Court File No. 02‐CR‐19‐8279, from an offense dated December 15, 2019, wherein defendant received a misdemeanor sentence.
