On or about March 30, 2026, the Cannon River Drug and Violent Offender Task Force executed a search warrant at the residence of JESSICA ANN DAHLE, [DOB REDACTED] ("Defendant") in Northfield, Rice County. The Defendant's residence is located in Spring Creek Townhomes, which is publicly funded housing. The Defendant answered the door for the agents. The Defendant asked agents to use her phone because she was going to go to jail because of the drugs in her pocket. The Defendant was searched and five baggies of suspected methamphetamine were found in her pocket.
The baggies weighed as follows: (1) 3.32g; (2) 0.85g; (3) 0.45g; (4) 0.73g; and (5) 0.80g. All weights are without packaging and all bags field- tested positive. The total amount of suspected methamphetamine found on the Defendant was 6.15g. Inside the residence, agents located the following: · 0.35 grams, without packaging, of suspected methamphetamine (field test positive) found on a table in the garage next to a green scale; · Green digital scale with the name Jessica written on it and a crystal residue that field tested positive for methamphetamine; · Single LSD dose in aluminum foil inside a purse on the bench by the front door (field test positive); · Mail with Defendant's name, located in Defendant's room; · Small diary with ledger of prices and weights that appeared to be drug related in Defendant's bedroom; · Second notebook with a ledger with drug prices and weights; · 0.09 grams, without packaging, of suspected methamphetamine (field test positive) in Defendant's bedroom; · 6.75 grams, without packaging, of suspected psilocybin mushrooms (field test positive); and · Metal knuckles found in Defendant's bedroom.
In total, the amount of suspected controlled substances found was: (1) 6.59 grams of methamphetamine; (2) 6.75 grams psilocybin mushrooms; and (3) 1 dosage unit of LSD. Agents noted that it smelled like someone had just been smoking in the garage. The Defendant appeared to be the only person who was awake at the residence and agents had conducted surveillance on the residence for several hours. Agents spoke with an individual who was found sleeping in another upstairs bedroom. That individual told agents that the Defendant is the owner or lease holder for the residence and that the Defendant has lived there for two years.
The Defendant was charged with Felony Fifth Degree Drugs on February 12, 2026, for allegedly possessing approximately 5.85 grams of methamphetamine (66-CR-26-351). The Defendant had conditions of release set, which included remain law abiding and no use or possession of controlled 3 66-CR-26-729 Filed in District Court State of Minnesota 3/31/2026 substances. Defendant has previous chapter 152 convictions in 74-VB-19-298 and 66-CR-11-2334. Defendant has also previously received a continuance for dismissal in a Fifth degree drug case (74-CR- 14-401).
