Forensic analysis was able to pull latent prints from the passenger side doors of both VEHICLE 1 and VEHICLE 2 that came back to DEFENDANT. Officers also obtained cell phone records that placed DEFENDANT at the apartment on Currie Avenue adjacent to where VEHICLE 2 was recovered both before and after the carjackings. DEFENDANT’s clothing was seized pursuant to a search warrant and observed to be consistent with that worn by the passenger seen in the video and the description provided by all three VICTIMS. DEFENDANT’s physical build and age were also consistent with victim [NAME REDACTED] in the video.
DEFENDANT admitted to being a passenger in VEHICLE 1 the morning of November 13, 2025, but denied any connection to the other vehicles and denied participating in the carjackings. Investigation also revealed that VICTIM [NAME REDACTED]’s financial data stored on her stolen cell phone was used to make numerous unauthorized purchases and other transactions after the carjackings.
