On August 1, 2025, Roseville police officers took a burglary report from [ADDRESS REDACTED], Roseville Ramsey County. A male, later identified as Andrew David Vennemann, [DOB REDACTED], was captured on surveillance video taking packages left for residents of the apartment complex. He did not have permission to do so. Vennemann used a proximity key that had been reported missing to enter the building. The proximity key had been given to a vendor for the building. Vennemann is not a resident of the building and had no right to enter the building.
He was not authorized to enter the mailroom where the packages were delivered. Vennemann burglarized the building on July 31, 2025, at 0652 hours. He was successful in entering and stealing packages. He returned with an accomplice on July 31 in the evening but could not enter because the key had been deactivated. Witnesses obtained a license plate for the vehicle used by Vennemann during the evening of July 31. Cottage Grove police stopped that vehicle on August 6, 2025. The driver, Daniel Adolph LaBarre, [DOB REDACTED], looked at screen captures of the person who committed the burglary on July 31. He identified the male as his girlfriend’s cousin, Vennemann.
A comparison of known public images of Vennemann with the video of the burglary yielded an exact match. Venneman has a unique tattoo and is missing fingers on his left hand. These unique identifying qualities are evident in the surveillance images of the person committing the burglary on July 31, 2025, at [ADDRESS REDACTED]. Vennemann has multiple convictions for theft, receiving stolen property and drugs.
